The famous morning market item, home-grown rice cake wrapped with magnolia leaves
"Yamada Mochi" serving rice cake using home-grown rice only is found in a morning market in front of the Takayama Jinya. Hohba mochi can be warmed up in an oven until the Hohba leaf comes off naturally and then it is ready with the fullest flavor. Many customers make back orders to enjoy it.
